Dr Aondowase Targba

Dr Aondowase Targba is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the Federal University Gusau, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Sociology (Demography) at Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria. He has over ten years of experience in teaching and research in demography, social statistics, and social research methods. He has additional training in disaster management research, displacement and migration, disasters, and climate change. His major research interests include climate change and migration. Dr. Targba is a member of the Climate Mobility Africa Research Network (CMARN), the Social Science Extreme Events Research—SSEER, Natural Hazard Centre University Colorado. He is also a member of the International Law Association Nigerian Branch.Dr Targba has enormous administrative experience as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Coordinator for Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. He is currently the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Postgraduate Coordinator at the Department of Sociology at Federal University Gusau. His Hobbies include playing football and listening to music.
